DUI’s Account Managers are on the front line interacting with our dealers and end users. Account Managers answer questions, provide recommendations and offer solutions. They also provide feedback from our customers to Engineering, Production and other departments for service and product improvements.


  • Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters for your accounts
    o Develop a trusted advisor relationship with your accounts
    o Develop a trusted advisor relationship with Key People and customers
    o Develop sales goals in conjunction with Sales Manager for each individual account
    o Work proactively with accounts to achieve sales goals
  • Methods used to achieve sales goals include but are not limited to
    o Regular communication via telephone, Skype and e-mails
    o Conduct sales and product knowledge presentations for the dealer and their staff
    o Dive club presentations
    o Coordinate demos/product samples for dealers, Public Safety teams or Key Persons
    o Identify public safety targets
    o Attend consumer shows, DEMA and other industry/DUI events as needed
  • Assist in developing overall sales strategies and programs with Sales Manager and Sales Team
  • Prepare customized sales/product presentations for the specific needs of each account
  • Identify new dealership targets in their territory/areas (DUI and OMS)
  • Provide quarterly and annual forecasts for their accounts
  • Provide sales analysis for their accounts
  • Assist in the development of promotional materials and marketing programs
  • Assist Engineering with the development of potential new products
  • Record all account contacts in Goldmine database
  • Enter orders for their accounts
  • Assist with customer emails, calls, walk-ins and any other customer interaction as needed


  • Proven account management, customer service, sales or other relevant experience
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
