| It has come to our attention that there is an email which at first glance might appear to be from Ocean Management Systems, stating you might be infected and prompts the recipient to run the enclosed attachment This email is not from OMS OMS does not send unsolicited executables or zip files. |
| In fact, the email is from a user infected with WORM_MYDOOM.M and it's goal is to get the recipient to invoke the attachment can have any name and an extension can be any of those listed below below : .ZIP .COM .SCR .EXE .PIF .BAT |
| in the below example, the recipient was in Florida amd the infected party is also in Florida ... the IP address which says it is omsdive.com is not a valid IP address for us |
