Links to product recalls, safety advisories.
The best central source for product safety advisories in the U.S. is the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission http://www.cpsc.gov their site can be searched by product type or company. Not all recalls involve the CPSC. If multiple vendors utilize a recalled component in their gear, all vendors names may not be listed, it is best to inspect your gear for use of the component. Date signifies recall notice publication, not product sale date If you know of any recalls or advisories not listed (especially vendor specific) please send a quick email and we'll check it out and add the information once verified All entries are here as a public service. The consumer is responsible for verifying all information and securing specific information as to model and serial numbers affected from the CPSC website or vendor. |
